Flameless candles..any good?

I love candles and have real ones in the lounge but worry about them in certain areas where I can't always keep an eye on them.

Any recommendations for Flameless ones? One criticism I've read is that they can look too orange and therefore unrealistic. Yes or no?

Also qvc have a big selection. I want to like them but just when I'm about to commit to buying some I read an iffy review and end up wavering
