low voltage lightbulbs for nightlights...

is this the most boring question ever?

i have one of those revolving lights in my dd's bedroom, but its too bright. it takes screw in bulbs where the screw bit is about the same width as a thick felt tip pen - does that make sense? the same type that goes in the glass lamps from ikea and shabitat

anyway - i have found 25v bulbs. anyone know about any dimmer than that?
