Advice on Cleaning Cloudy Drinking Glasses

If anyone has successfully cleaned cloudy and marked glasses that have been repeatedly washed in the dishwasher please can you share your tips?

I will dump mine if needs be and buy more, but I would like to find out if they can be brought back to their original clear sparkly selves! Thanks in advance.

You can try wiping them with vinegar, just in case it is limescale caused by not topping up the salt reservoir in the d/wr, but I expect it is alkaline etching and cannot be removed.

That's why I hand wash drinking glasses. Sorry.
