Milk Sick on the carpet

DS drank a large cup of milk, 15 mins later vomited the whole lot back up on the carpet. We cleaned it up and used vanish carpet cleaner on it but it still stinks.

Any tips on how to get rid?

zoflora solution? neutradol carpet powder?

Bicarb of soda. Lots and lots of it. Leave over night. Vacuum. If the smell doesn't go on the first application it will after 2 (worst case 3). Good luck. Milk + vomit. Bleurgh.

Stuff from pet shop for cat and dog stains. Only thing that got milky vom stench out of my car seats

Right, so I'll try the bicarb over night and then go shopping in the morning. I am inhaling Yankee candle at the moment as the smell is making me feel ill. Yuck.

I remember being really impressed with neutradol powder, but it was 20 years ago! Maybe things have moved on since then.

Vinegar and water solution will get rid of the smell
