Cot mattress?

Becky is a madam for needing a drink in the night, and nearly every morning she wakes up in a puddle of water/milk or at worst her own wee!!!

What can i do to clean it and get rid of smells? I have padded it out with towels for now as she is about to go for a nap, but want to tackle it when she wakes up.

HELP!

hmmm no idea. if it was a hot summers day i'd say wash it in the bath and roll it up to wring all the water out and leave it to dry.

can you replace the mattress when you move?

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 04/10/2006 10:02

When we move - it gets handed back and we will use the cot that is at dads house.

Im wondering if bicarb will help get the smell out at least....

Would lying it on the floor and using my carpet cleaner on it help?! I dunno...... bloomin kids.... gonna try and find a plastic sheet to put over the matress to stop it getting any worse.

put in bath with washing powder then hang to dry?

Bucketsofbloodydinosaurs · 04/10/2006 10:25

Is she not in nappies then? I'm confused.

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 04/10/2006 10:44

Yes she's in nappies but they tend to be leaking just before we get to her in the morning.

It isnt every morning she is wet via nappy, usually water or milk related.
