Zoflora in the washing machine

I have been advised to put Zoflora in the washing machine to get rid of sweaty stinky armpits on clothes.

How much am I meant to put in? Neat or diluted? Do I just put it in the washing powder drawer?

Thanks

Put a 1 or 2 capfuls into the fabric dispenser bit of the machine

RubbishRobotFromTheDawnOfTime · 30/10/2014 21:03

You put it in the fabric conditioner drawer. Two capfuls it says here.

Fabric conditioner dispenser bit of the drawer is what I mean

Peanutbutterandnutellanutter · 30/10/2014 21:24

Is that two capfuls neat?

Try white vinegar in the wash- it's brilliant

ilovepowerhoop · 30/10/2014 21:44

Yes put it in neat. it doesnt need to be diluted

The white vinegar, would I put it in with the main wash?

Mrsgrumble · 01/11/2014 13:42

Yes, just put it in with your wash

Sorry to crash another's thread, but can you put zoflora in the fabric softener drawer and white vinegar in the drum in the same wash cycle? Or is it best to do separately?
I switched brand of washing powder and noticed a sweaty underarm smell on some tops, so switched back to old brand but can't seem to get rid of smell so have been researching this and am about to try it.

Hi I too have been having the smelly underarm smell so after seeking advice on here I am:

  • using bio powder rather than non-bio
  • spraying white vinegar spray onto armpits before washing (I bought a bottle of white vinegar spray from £1 shop)
  • adding a little Zoflora to the wash

Will see if the sweaty armpits go away!

I will be buying bio powder, zoflora and white vinegar tomorrow and will report back! Good luck op Smile

This has worked for us- 40c wash (50c for the really stinky), vinegar sprayed on pits and left for a bit before washing, a cap of zoflora instead of fabric softener.

Plus, changing to a crystal deodorant has helped a lot. Anti perspiration at night, shower in the morning double soaping the pits and then crystal deodorant.

DH was getting quite stinky but barely a whiff now, even after an afternoon gardening.
