They're disguting and have invaded our kitchen !! HELP ! how do I get rid of them ?!

GS I have a really ripe banana and when it had rotted was when it started attracting the flies - it was kind of a lumpy banana soup at its most effective. Perhaps your flies have a sophisticated pallet - some of the other sites I looked at used peaches, orange juice, even marmite. give it a could of days - also have you put the trap where you have seen the most flies? listen to me sounding like I am some kind of fly expert lol!

They do love the banana, I have caught loads. I keep releasing them outside but DH reckons they fly straight back in again!
