Why do I buy bathroom spray? What else am I missing?

Honestly, I ran out and used bicarb of soda as I had done in the past and my bath is super shiny! I know it doesn't smell as strongly of lemon groves or whatever and isn't quite as 'fun' to spray on as you have to rub in the gritty texture, but honestly if someone had just invented bicarbonate of soda, they'd have a rush on stock because it's way more effective than all the heavily marketed bathroom sprays.

Just had to have a rave really.

Also, went to a laundrette for the first time ever tonight to wash a double sleeping bag and I think it might be my new hang out place. Super warm and cosy, and even had a kids activity table that kept toddler busy for half an hour! I just needed my kindle to make it as good as a coffee bar!

What else am I missing in the world of domestic bliss other than a cleaner?

Thanks for this - I am going to give our bath a good scrub tomorrow with the bicarb. Needed some inspiration :)

I need tips too!
What type of vinegar and where does it need to be put in the machine? I am a bit clueless with washing machines Halloween Blush

I recently used bicarb on the carpet which smelt after having a drink spilt on it. That worked really well once it had dried

It's white distilled vinegar and I think for smelly clothes you add a cup in the last rinse cycle.

Also just some white vinegar (two cups) in the powder section and some soda crystals in the drum (a couple of cups again) in the drum really cleans out all the build up in the machine so your clothes and washer smell better after that. And whenever you can, leave the door to your washer open so it doesn't get mouldy smelling.
