Getting your home ready for winter

I'd like to do some sorting and cleaning to get the house feeling cosier for winter.
We end up spending much more time at home and I hate spending time at home when it's messy.

Anyone else doing the same?

I cleaned the pantry out Sunday ready to put my christmas food in as I buy it in the run up.
Kitchen cupboards and linen cupboards are next on the list.

Yes me too. An Autumn version of the big Spring clean. Trying to get my house to that magical and seeming unachievable point where it's all clean AND tidy at the same time. I'm convinced I could then just do general maintenance to keep it nice rather than occasional massive blitzes! I've sorted out my utility room (tons of paperwork hidden in there) and this evening have wiped down the kitchen cupboards and kick boards. I find watching Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners (4od) on my laptop is an excellent accompaniment to housework!
