Inspired by a recent thread I have purchased my first magic eraser.
Its fantastic!
so far I have cleaned my upvc doors and windows and grubby marks from paintwork.

What do you use them for?

I love them too, no idea how they work, but they do!
I use them for my kitchen cupboard doors, all nooks and crannies in the kitchen, round dishwasher etc, also paintwork and doors like you.
they are fab! Smile

The burnt on splashes inside the oven door.

mouselittle · 23/10/2014 16:14

mrstumble I've just done the splashes on the oven door and they came off a treat. Even the steam cleaner failed to get them off.

I've worn out one sponge already Blush

Paintwork, especially walls that have been rubbed with something metal (they look like pencil marks).

Our porous white stone fireplace (has gotten all kinds of marks off it including the sticky substance used for the foam guard to protect baby from sharp edges).

ggirl · 23/10/2014 16:27

Do you wet them?

Valsoldknickers · 23/10/2014 16:36

Yes ggirl and squeeze tightly. They kind of disinegrate but are very effective.

Smile I was on that other thread, glad you're pleased with them, they are addictive!

BlinkingHeck · 23/10/2014 16:47

I used mine to get permanent blue marker off our bedroom door. DS2 who was 4 wrote 'mum and dads room' it disintegrated but was better than having to paint the door.

When we used to have a pushchair its rubber wheels used to scuff the hall door as we brought it through, nothing would shift the marks till I got magic erasers. They are great for skirting boards and windowsills as well.
