My Dad lives in a house about 10 years old and a new housing estate is being built next door. Since they attached the new houses to the sewer his downstairs bathroom smells very strongly of sewage. He's had the utility company out who have said there is nothing wrong with the drains but clearly something is causing this. Any ideas? Would you get a plumber or a drains company out to look at it?
