Glass oven door cleaning

My over door opens to the side rather than out all cleaners just dip down it. Has anyone tried anything on side openers that cleans the grease off the glass?

You need one of these.

Put some old newspaper and a dustsheet on the floor and scrape away. I use Over Pride to loosen the muck and then scrape. Yes, it drips down a bit, but that's why I cover the floor underneath.

Oven Pride!

I used oven pride but found it did nothing as it all dripped off before it had anytime to work.
I'll try the scrapper but still need to find something that will not drip.

Try cleaning it with scrunched up tin foil dipped in soapy water. Think you'll be surprised by how effective it is.

Can you unscrew it with relative ease, or not? If you can, do so, then lay it flat somewhere and use the oven cleaner on it.

Lakeland oven cleaner, it's quite a thick gel and doesn't really drip at all.

heat oven to 200 degrees. Put ammonia in a bowl on top shelf. put a bowl of boiled water underneath. Leave overnight. Wipes clean with ease next day :)

Cif power cream works well on mine. I put some on then smear it over the glass so it doesn't drip.

astonish oven cleaner, put a thick layer on (it's like a thick paste) and leave for half an hour. Wipe away (might have to use a bit of elbow grease) amazing stuff

If it is not gas you could try this.

Try a Brillo pad?
