Absolute must haves?

Although I've been a homeowner for many years i am still a bit rubbish at housework. Please help!

What are your must have products, and what do you use them for?

Yes to microfibre cloths, love them.

I actually enjoy cleaning sad and I could safely not but cleaning products for 20 yrs.

Bleach, bleach, bleach. Also fairy washing up liquid, these 2 combined in hot water make the best cleaning solution ever.

Did I mention bleach? I can't understand how cleaning can be done without it, but that's just me.

Also yy to the Flash power mop, good for keeping floors clean daily inbetween proper mops with,,, bleach :)

Remember swiffer as mentioned upthread, shame that they pulled out of the UK market :(

Nilco nilglass is an amazing window and glass cleaner. I bought some from Amazon after much research, and it cleans glass quickly and cleanly and without smudges.

I love it because I no longer have to get up again to redo glass after seeing the residue from my efforts.
