PLEASE recommend a good stain remover

DD has a small orange dot on her Rainbows uniform T shirt....which I have just sold on ebay to fund Brownies trousers and I can not get it out.

I've used vanish spray: still there.

Soaked it in a mix of sugar & lemon juice in case it is rust: still there.

I don't actually know what the stain is, which doesn't help.

Ummm, bicarbonate of soda can help if it's pen. Could it be rust? Bleach it out maybe?

I don't think it's rust - should i put bicarb & water in a bowl and soak the whole T shirt then wash? Daren't bleach it out, I'm not the world's best when it comes to washing clothes

I got stains out of baby/kids clothes that had been washed loads of times and stored in the loft!
