I had some wonderful high thread count bedding which my DD (SN) chopped up with scissors, why did she chop the good stuff??
I miss the wonderful feel of it
Where is the best place to buy reasonably priced, good quality bedding and what thread count do I need to feel wonderful and wrapped in luxury?
I can't remember where we got our wonderful bedding but it was when we had more available cash

Watching with interest! I saw some at the John Lewis outlet today but it was all a bit funny looking (but felt lovely)

I've had some good bargains from Just Linen.

I personally favour Sheridan - their cotton sateen washes and uses well.

We have had sheets, pillowcases and a duvet cover from the Sheridan Australia range for about ten years. The quality is superb. I bought it in Debenhams, at the time when they only very occasionally gave 20 per cent off. Lugged it all home on the tube.

I also really like the Laura Ashley bedding that we have. They don't do the same one anymore though, and I've never bought other bedding there to know if I would recommend it.

I ve got some sheridan 600 thread count bedding.

The only downfall to having very high thread count bedding is that it really does need ironing and once its been ironed and put on the bed, it looks nice.

However once you have slept in it for one night, it looks a screwed up mess again.

TK Maxx is good for high thread count bedding

HappyNap · 14/10/2014 20:38

Just linen too and can recommend Sheridan and dorma. My dorma bedding has lasted me 8 years!

Tkmaxx do nice bedding, too.
