I would like to keep to a cleaning schedule in order to give me focus/keep the house in order.

Any out there?

TIA :)

I've kind of devised my own, based on what is happening in the week. I started on the Flylady website (following her instructions for the Control Journal) and then adapted it to suit my needs.

I'm a bit of a spreadsheet addict though so love sorting out things like that Blush

My house is a mess but I know if I was more organised it really doesn't have to be this way!

I shall take a look at Fly lady thanks :)

When I did this, I did in stages. I went into each room and wrote down all the jobs in there (e.g living room: sweep floor, mop floor, clean window, dust, clean settees, wipe toys, wipe radiator, clear random clutter) until I had a massive list of the jobs in the house. Then I separated it into things that needed to be done daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly and used that to make a timetable, spreading out the jobs so that I wouldn't be knackered. It was really useful for a while!

But I found eventually that being so organised meant I put off the cleaning more than if I just floated through life. Even then though, all the thinking I'd done about the different jobs means that now I notice mess more easily so have a cleaner house than before but without using the schedule.
