Have a big scratch on my laminate flooring - please help!!!

Am thinking about colouring it in, it looks hideous!!!

is it wood? can you fill it with a tiny bit of varnish?

Is it a deep one or just surface? Not that I have any answers but someone else might.

Its a surface scratch, DS decided to "help" his Dad and pushed part of a bed across the floor, unfortunately there was a screw on the bottom and it scratched it.

Have got some varnish but tried that and it didn't seem to work, just put some on a cloth and rubbed it, is that right?

Wax crayons, use a combination of shades of brown, yellow and white to mix and tone. Remove excess with a plastic spatula or ruler. Buff and repeat until scratch is filled and invisible.

Its quite a light colour, medium oak.
