Can I throw them in a 30 degree wash cycle in the machine? Mine are about 2"wide & all separate from the runner & each other. TYIA

Did they come with any washing instructions?

I probably wouldn't risk it, tbh, unless it specifically said you could. or if you did, then make sure you don't put them on spin.

I've got Venetian blinds and I take them down and swish them in the bath or turn the shower on them.

They're 13….so no instructions now. I'm ashamed to say I've never done more than give them a wipe. But we're moving & they're staying so need to do more than wipe them!!

I do mine twice a year on a 30 low spin I put them in a pillow case come out like new. I hang them over the stairs bannister and within a few hrs their dry i then iron them as I like them straight.
I tried hanging them slightly damp but find they were left with kinks in them.

oooh thx Spotty. (Can't believe I'm getting excited about washing blinds…).

Theres a clip on youtube on how to wash them in the washing machine. I did mine in the sink. Left them soaking for a while in some washing powder and then wrapped up in a towel to dry.

I wash mine on a 40 degree wash as they hang on the patio doors which the dogs use. I do notice a bit of shrinkage tho and my edges have started to unthread.

I hang mine right back up after washing and once they are dry, I use my hair straighteners to get out the kinks that annoy me.
