Reed diffuser

I have a reed diffuser (from tu at sainsburys) that is now empty. I wondered if anyone had suggestions for what I could refill it with or should I just replace? Would it just be an oil (what type?!) and some essential oils?
The wooden sticks look ok but not sure if changing the scent on them would ruin them? I imagine the oil will dry up quicker coming into winter with the heating on too so it could get costly to keep replacing. Thanks

Fab thanks. I'll have to price essential oils as it might be just as cheap to buy one on offer!

Do you have a Dunelm near you? They do a Wax Lyrical refill in several different fragrances, they're around £5.99 and fill my diffuser bottle at least twice.

TK Maxx/Homesense often have oil refills for around £5.
