I'm looking at getting a new kitchen. I'd like a whizzy new fridge freezer with one of those icemakers. Are they all double width though? There are 3 doors in my kitchen and so I'm trying to keep all appliances as slimline as possible...

If you have one of these fridges, which one have you got and would you recommend it?

We just moved into a house and the old owners left their American style LG fridge freezer - like this

It's the first time we've had one and I do love the ice making feature but it's massive and if I'm honest I'd rather have the extra space. I'm also more of a country kitchen kind of girl so it's not what I would have picked and when we do eventually re-do the kitchen we'll probably sell it.

We have a single door one with an ice maker in the freezer bit. Drops ice into a drawer. It is a Liebherr make.

How many members in your family? We now have 6 (4 kids) and I find the fridge space tight for all the food.

Ice maker handy but lidded ice cube trays would serve a similar function.

With our family size if we were doing it tomorrow I would go for a full height fridge in kitchen and a small freezer in utility room. But if we were a family of 4 I may think differently.

The Bosch lasted less than 5 years and had a few faults. Now trying Samsung which has 5 year warranty. Love them ( when they work!).

My PILs have got one of these. The ice always tastes horrible, but perhaps they don't clean it out as they should.

?? we were that minus cat when we got it??

In terms of reliability it has been very good, one repair in 6 years.
