I've noticed a poo mark on carpet - the carpet is green and the stain has been attempted at being wiped up.

I've not got access today to any non bleach products but I've got soda bicarb at home

Help!!!

I would try baby wipes - I find them fantastic at removing anything from anything!

I have a daughter with a bowel prob and have loads of unfortunate experience with this .If you only have whats in the cupboard at the moment remove as much as you can with the babywipe idea then try washing up liquid and a nail/scrubbing brush.Be careful not to put the liquid directly on the carpet it sometimes leaves a coloured stain as i found with a green brand!light coloured ones are usualy ok though .
Another idea is a solution of washing powder and warm water with a good scrub too. The bicarb idea works well for smells .My carpets cream or at least it used to be so i'd welcome any advice on this weird subject too.
I've had a guy come in and do it proffesionaly a few times he did a great job and it was only £12 for my large lounge .You could also try a steam cleaner my dad did his and said it worked really well and he's getting me one (from Aldi so not expensive)
I'd love to know of any products for cleaning carpet stains in general that anyones had success with, tried 1001 but was crap no pun intended

Try vanish carpet spray/foam. Works on everything including black marker on cream couch (speaking from experience!)

We use that "Carpet power by oz clean". Brilliant stuff..!!! Can't recommend it enough. Also has quite a nice fresh smell as well which is not always the case with carpet cleaners.

We also use their "bath power" and I know they do a kitchen power.
