Where do I get them from? I love the sheets when we are away on holiday. Really thick and smooth. Where do I get them from?

I work for a large american hotel chain (not hilton) and they do have a website to buy the exact bed linen, mattress toppers, pillows and duvets, runners etc from.

The hotel you stayed in - is it a chain? Yhey may do something similar.

I've been looking such websites up. Often, they have US websites… but not UK ones. Argh!

I'm even thinking of buying an actual copy of the bed next year - and just pay the huge postage price! I seem obsessed...

But hotels also have staff. That is what is missing from home, someone to do the laundering of the fabulous bedding...

Have a look at kingofcotton.co.uk. I'm a bit Blush to be punting them for the second time tonight, but the quality of their goods is second to none. If you want "thick and smooth", 600 thread count and upwards (the higher, the better) is what you're looking for. My absolute best bedset is the 1000tc set I bought about 15 years ago, it's the softest, smoothest, most comfortable set I've ever had. And no bobbling.

However, the downside of high tc sheets is washing them; they are very heavy and take a while to dry.

It's not as good a quality as you want but maybe a start? Have you got a tk max or a home sense close by? I've just bought 100% cotton 300 thread duvet covers and omg I love them. I'm defiantly going to try a higher cotton thread next time but very impressed so far x

The Costco ones are fab. Marriott sell all their bedding (& beds), I'm guessing that is the chain someone else was talking about. Their beds are very comfy & the sheets are lovely.
