How do Roomba's cope with dog hair?

I'm seriously thinking of getting one as I have 2 heavy shedding dogs but im wondering how it would cope as it looks quite small.

I would love to turn a hoover on each day and let it do its job so when I came back in the floors were hair free.

For the price, I wouldn't say they're worth it. They're ok at picking up surface bits but they barely have any suction so they're not a good replacement for a full sized vacuum. They're just sweepers really and they fill up very quickly if you have pets.

The Gtech AirRam might be worth looking at. They're perfect for quick day to day cleaning. Again, they don't really clean well enough to replace a big vac, but they're perfect for quick cleaning, meaning you only need to get the big vac out once every week of fortnight to do a deep clean. They're not a robot but they're less than half the price.

Hope this helps.
