I am buying dh a dslr camera for his birthday. We don't have a fancy one now, just a shoot and point.
I have narrowed it down to two that I can afford:
Canon 1200D 18mp
or
Nikon D3100 this is 12mp but comes in a bundle with card reader, bag etc
I'm leaning towards the Canon having higher megapixels, but just wanted to get an opinion on the two brands before I buy, as cant ask dh
