Confession time. We got the wood burner put on a couple of slate tiles which I meant to seal but....
A small chip from a fish and chip supper in front of the tv one night must have been laying on the hearth for a day or two before I spotted it. And now there's a small, not very noticeable (except to me of course) spot (size of a 5p) on the hearth.
How do I clean it, and how should I seal it ?
(Kitchen paper applied, washing up liquid scrubbed etc hasn't made a difference).
