banana stains!

Hi, the Unilever website says to soak the item in equal glycerine (available from chemist I think) and water, then rub lemon juice in, dry in the sun, then wash as normal. Might be worth a try if the item's going to be ruined.

or found this on the thread about beetroot stains -

"De-Solvit is fantastic for stains especially old ones.

Comes in an aerosol spray. You can buy it at the supermarket and it is a bit expensive but having said that most stain removers are.

I can't recommend it enough. It even got out dd's old banana stains! "

its quite a waste of energy but what i do is take off their clothes when they've had a banana, and rinse them through, then wash later when ive got enough clothes for a full load.

great thanks for the advice!
I will try the De-Solvit as it is too late for me to wash out. Remembering now with ds1 i used to rinse it straight away after he has eating the banana lol thie thing i have forgotten!
