How Often Do You Empty Your Hoover?

OMG

Just did mine this morning, and realised it must have been 2 months or more since I did it last.

It was gross, and amazingly it now sucks the crap up better!!!!

well it has a transparent collection drum thingy, so I can't forget (even when it's pouring down outside and I'd like to...)

mine just the opposite - I know exactly when to empty it because the suction is crapola

actually I have two - one upstairs and one down - the other one cuts out when its full

you can actually see the crap it collects in mine too but i just kept saying " i must empty that" - it was horrid!!!

About once every 6 months but I have wooden floors downstairs and do a lot of sweeping.

When it gets nearly full. Have a Dyson with transparent cylinder - so know when to do it.

When it stops sucking stuff up properly...

its a morphy richards knock off of a dyson. We hoover at least once a day downstairs and about twice a month upstairs as we hardly use upstairs other than sleeping lol

I usually clean mine when it loses its sucking strength too, then I give it a good cleaning out and marvel at the way it works afterwards

We have a Dyson so its blatantly obvious when it needs emptying. Before that we used to empty the old normal cylinder hoover very rarely -no wonder it was so crap at picking everything up.

I empty mine after every hoovering session - it's a dyson with a transparent cylinder

I have an upright dyson and empty it every other day. I wash the cylinder out once a week as well.
