Cereal Storage Suggestions please

My kitchen cupboards are too small to store regular cereal boxes - the boxes are too high by about an inch or so. Can anyone recommend good storage boxes I could use which would fit into my cupboards? The only ones I've seen are more or less the same height as cereal boxes, so wouldn't solve my storage problems!

Can you not just cut the boxes down?

Could you just drill some extra holes in the sides of the cupboards and move the shelf up/down? Would save loads of faff in the long run.

We use small boxes, about a4 size from the pound shop. Great for little hands, but I wouldn't recommend for you as they need filling up far too often and you'd still need to store the rest of the box somewhere! For us they just live on the windowsill so DC can do their own breakfast.

Just have eggs for breakfast instead.

Could you lie the boxes on their sides? Secure inner wrapper with a peg.

We use wilko cereal containers which are smaller - what height do you have to work with?

Thanks for the tips!
I DO have eggs for breakfast but the kids don't like them in any shape or form and prefer aldi rice crispies -bah!
