help needed!! white school shirts ruined

Hi, my ds recently started secondary school, is tall and stocky and it was a bit of an ordeal finding uniform that fit nicely.

After 2 weeks I realised he could do with a third school jumper, 1 to wear, 1 in the wash, 1 spare:)

There are 2 stockists of his uniform, I bought everything from stockist 1 in town but bought the newer jumper from stockist 2.

Washed it first as I usually do, ds came home with his white shirt covered in millions of black fluffy bits, I put the shirt to one side and washed the jumper twice, only for it to happen again!!

So yesterday I washed the 2 affected shirts and tumble dried them, they're no different, still covered inside and out.

The shirts are only 3 weeks old, he's now down to 3/5 shirts.

Any ideas please?

I would rather try and salvage them if possible, offending jumper is obviously a load of rubbish and won't be worn again.

Thanks:)

lint roller ? Most supermarkets, Wilkos etc stock Korbond sewing accessories. If he wears a jumper does it matter if his shirt has flecks on ?

Hi, nice name:)

I've got loads of lint rollers but seriously the shirts are that bad, however I will give it a go and report back.

sticky tape

Ds school doesn't wear a blazer so sometimes if it's warm he has came home without jumper on and it would look horrendous as they are now!
Jumper is a sweatshirt material with fleece inside as opposed to a woolly jumper, they're horrible.
Am off to try the lint roller.....

Well I never, 20 minutes later and both shirts are in the ironing pile, fully restored to former glory:)
I didn't hold out much hope with the lint roller, the shirts were literally covered but it was so quick and may I even say a little bit satisfying!!

Thanks to those who replied.
