Hi all...will try this in food in a mo too but thought as it's lakeland here might be good too.

I have one of lakelands tin doughnut trays (a bit like a baking tray/yorkshire pudding tray but with small doughnut shapes in it. Have only used it a couple of times but wanted to have another go with it but can't find the recipe that it came with.

Does anyone else have one or know of a smallish recipe that I might be able to use to make oven doughnuts?

Thanks will try and find it on their site and link in a mo.

pre-heat oven to 324 F(Can't remember C)
Grease the pan.
In a bowl mix together
2 cups flour(8oz)
3 quarters cup sugar(6ozs)
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt

Then add
3 quarters cup milk(1 quarter of a pint)
2 eggs,beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla(essence/flavouring)
1 tablespoon shortning(I guessed this was butter!)
Bake for 8 mins or until tops spring back.

My dc loved them.

I don't know what make it is.Bought in a charity shop.
Not used it much but might do more now.Does make about 36 donuts so alot of emptying out, cleaning, and doing next batch!

Mine does 12 doughnuts, each doughnut being about 5 and a half cms across (2") with a hole in the middle. What are youo supposed to do to 'prepare' the tin? Thanks
