Which room do you find hardest to keep clean and tidy? Why?

Which do you find easiest? Why?

Our bedroom because my husband uses the floor as a wardrobe, leaves dirty washing on the floor and never takes his mugs down.

Easiest is the main sitting room because it's clutter free and no one really uses it except me.

Our bedroom is hardest, it's a dumping ground for anything that doesn't have a home or that I run out of time to tidy, because all that sort of stuff is somehow my problem.

Bathrooms are easy peasy. I think it's because they are naturally clutter free. I am rubbish at tidying but ok at cleaning, and with bathrooms it's nearly "pure" cleaning so I can manage it.

I find the kitchen the hardest, it's our dumping ground

Easiest is dds bedroom as she only goes in there to sleep

Our bedroom because i can tidy and clean downstairs during the day while dd is playing in the lounge or in her highchair. Bathroom i just wipe down while im waiting for my shower to warm up. Dds only sleeps in her room so its just a case of removing dirty nappies and clothing really.
our bedroom dp uses as a bloody dumping ground!!!!!

Our bathroom. I hate cleaning showers (we have big shower cubicle in our bathroom). It always takes the longest and needs the most elbow grease. Plus it's on the third floor so have to carry all cleaning products up 2 flights of stairs.

Easiest is lounge. Polishing and hoovering are easy, even around the toys.

The front hall.
Dumping ground when DC come in from school.
Dumping ground for me when coming in from whatever I've been doing.
Also dumping ground for DH when he comes in from work, not that he will admit this.

It gets tidied up, but it never stays tidy.

Sitting room is the easiest as there is nothing in there that isn't meant to be, the kids don't ever play in there so never anything to clear away.

Hardest is the kitchen but that's mostly because I hate unloading the dishwasher! Plus it just seems never ending round of clearing breakfast dishes, then lunch then tea time

ThePerfect1IThinkNot · 12/09/2014 22:39

The kitchen is the hardest, plates and saucepans multiply when I'm at work and my uni returning DCs are at home.

Easiest is my hobby stock room as it is all sorted in clear storage boxes

DramaAlpaca · 12/09/2014 22:45

The kitchen is hardest because everyone just dumps everything in there & it's hard to keep on top of the clutter.

The sitting room is easiest because we hardly ever use it, except at Christmas or when we have visitors.
