I'm not sure this comes under good housekeeping but I'm sure one of you kind people will be able to help.
I live on an housing estate, on each side we have families with babies and very young with babies on both sides and today I saw a ferret on the back lawn. After it disappeared it reappeared on the front lawn. I'm not really an animal person and its poohed alot on the grass.
Any ideas please???? How to help it to a better home?
TIA

Eeeeugh, don't know why I find guinea pigs so much nicer than ferrets, they're the same thing really, just shorter.
It's probably a runaway pet, might be an afternoon stroll knocking on doors asking if anyone's lost one. They can do the chasing then.

pmsl. once a ferret came into my parents house and into my bedroom on the ground floor. i was in the living room reading, the back door was open and i saw a creature zip past. i followed it and it went into my room. i chased it back outside, it shot over the main road, and in to someones else back garden. it was the most bizarre experience i've had.

can you treat it like a cat and throw a football at it?

Dh hissed at it like it was a cat and it just looked at him. I think a football is a good idea and maybe Ds can go door knocking this afternoon. DH is adamant he will not leave the doors aopen again, good job its cooler and misty in our part of the world today!
