Cats bowls go in with our stuff everyday!

I put the cat and dog bowls in with all the 'people' stuff routinely and we are still here and haven't succumbed to some weird disease

I put the dog stuff in the dishwasher, but only when my husband isn't looking

Why would you not wash dog/cat bowls in them? Dishwashers get things clean, that's the point of them!

I just didn't like the thought of the water swishing round a frankly minging cat bowl and our dinner plates, but I've done it now and gotten over it!

Dog bowls go in ours.

Rank. Dog bowl gets bleached and rinsed in the garden then washed again in the dishwater once ive finished washing human stuff. I use kitchen roll to wash and dry it. Then I bleach the sink out.
I do love my doggy but he licks his nob and arse all day and then licks his bowl and that aint going nowhere near my plates.

Yes. Not tooooo bad if you wash it by hand first, but I still wouldn't. Dishwashers always leave a bit of stuff here & there, I'd sooner it wasn't cat food! (but then I am veggie as well, so it's doubly gross I suppose).

• dust pan & brush

Defo. It gets quite hot so will sterilise more than washing up liquid&hot water. So sympathise with flea thing. They are buggers.
