I've got a pork fillet (one of those long things), some real chicken stock, some brown basmati rice and some creme fraiche. How can I combine them to make something yummy? Was thinking maybe bung the sliced fillet, stock and rice with some onions into a casserole dish and bake, then stir creme fraiche through, like a big stroganoffy stew? Would that work or do I have to cook the rice separately?

I would've thought cook rice seperately?

Do you have any peppers? Sliced pork stir fried with peppers and onions then adding stock and lastly creme fraiche to thicken would be nice perhaps? rice on the side. You could add a dash of white wine whilst pork cooking.

You could add the CF and do rice separately.

I've made it this way and it's great.
