Not sure this is the right place for this but my sink isn't draining, when I put the washing machine on it's backing up into the skin and the washing machine isn't draining it's just sitting full of water.
I've drained everything with a bucket, checked the washing machine filter, checked the u bend, checked the outside drains are flowing, used a plunger and put drain cleaner down. Nothing's worked.
We rent off an eccentric fellow and he doesn't like getting things fixed or repaired. I've phoned our agents who will be contacting him but it could take days or weeks to get him to sort it.
We've had problems with this for years and my dh has so far been home to work it out but this time he's away, I can't use the sink, dishwasher or washing machine.
Have I missed something? What else can I do? I'm not sure it's anything I've done, it's just stopped working
