white shirt with tomato stains. I think ketchup but could be pasta sauce. Even neat bleach is not helping. any last tips before it goes in the bin?

Put it outside on the washing line.
Sunshine does marvels to some stains.
Tho if bleach doesn't shift it, I'm not sure anything will.

How many times have you washed it so far?

SlatternLovesLots · 27/08/2014 20:54

DD got pizza sauce down her white top the first time she had it on when on holidays. I didn't do anything until I got home when I put loads of fairy liquid on it and left it. A couple of days at least a week later I washed it as normal. No stain at all. Even I was surprised.

Body shop soapless strawberry body shampoo used to be brilliant - even got pasta sauce out of silk.
They stopped it.
The guy who started Lush developed it. Neither of them planned to reintroduce it. Was good in the shower/bath, too.

Turmeric isn't light fast, so maybe it's that.
