Removing a coffee stain from carpet

Any tips on how to remove a small coffee stain from a carpet? Stain has been there a few weeks so totally dry. Carpet is a light brown colour.

I removed an espresso stain from cream carpet by rubbing in glycerine then rinsing with plain water, patting dry, but it was a recent, same-day stain. Good luck.

The carpet-cleaning spray in the fuschia-coloured bottle. Massage it in with your fingertips rather than a brush which will frizz the carpet fibres. Mop it off with a damp sponge (rinse and squeeze dry each time) followed by dry kitchen roll. You may need to repeat. The residue will hoover out when totally dry.
