How do you get sticker marks of tee shirts?

I washed two of DDs white school polo shirts without removing the stickers and now can't get rid of the glue stuff. I've tried picking it of and have washed them three times now. Any ideas?

I want to know this too, MtoL! I am constantly forgetting to remove stickers from my boys' clothes. Come on mumsnetters- one of you must know!

Try Dylon Stain Solve; I bought it to remove lipstick stains from the collar of a new silk blouse I'd bought (at a discount because of the stain). Lippy gone in seconds !
It's designed for all fabrics, including dry clean only, and claims to work on oil, grease, adhesives, etc. I'd have thought it would cope with your sticky marks easily. I paid about £2 in a local hardware shop, though maybe supermarkets would have it too.

Thanks Wanderingstar, I'll give it a try.

have you tried the ironing it with the brown paper like you would for wax? It should melt the glue.

you can use bits of sellotape to pull the sticky gunk off, it takes a while but is quite therapeutic

another one i have used before is rubbing washing up liquid ont he sticky stuff, with maybe a bit of warm water and that might loosen it
