How do you organise your plastics?

A big-arse drawer under the bench. All chucked in at random. So, not actually organised at all but I can actually see what I'm doing, unlike when I kept them on a pantry shelf. I hate the bastarding things but DH is smitten with plasticware and collects it like a hobby.

In a large Really Useful box and the rest in a wooden crate on a shelf in the kitchen - they were taking up too much room in a cupboard and I had a sort out recently. I do more batch cooking and freezing in winter so most of them will be in the freezer then!

They don't go back in the cupboard unless they have their lid on.

I seem to have every lid in the world that ever was made.

None that fit though

but if they have the lid on you can't stack them!

Mine are stacked with lids on. By size. Depends on the type you have, I guess.

Dd has these& the lids stack inside each other & the tubs pack inside each other

We only have one type of box now so all lids fit all boxes.

We still have other Tupperware - round ones and bigger ones - but the bog standard tubs that you get takeaway in can only stay if they are that one type.

Don't you need different sizes?

I'm a slovenly wreck and I just open the cupboard door and throw them in.

The very next time it opens everything falls out so I can find the lid in the debris on the floor... Supposedly!

Incidental - that's my system too at the moment!

Different sizes stacked in piles. My Tupperware cupboard is tidy but the rest of my life in chaos.
