Calling morphy Richards 9 in 1 steam cleaners 9 in 1 owners

Hi. Inspired by a thread on Mumsnet I bought one of these which arrived today. However it often makes a rumbly noise and the steam isn't constant but comes in fits and spurs. Is this how it should be or should the jet on the hand held thing be constant? Thanks.

I love mine! Yes, yours sounds normal. I tend to hold down the button all the time but if I notice the steam has stopped I release it for a few seconds then hold it again. I keep doing this until the steam returns. It doesn't take long.

Thanks. I've never used a steamer before and assumed it would be one long jet of steam! It is good for £50 and I think my expectations were a little unrealistic.

Mine were too But, I am very happy with how it cleans my windows and floors so I've settled for that!

I sent it back as it did that & I found it too unpredictable & annoying. :(
