How to remove water stain on new curtains

We have just bought new curtains (www.next.co.uk/x544114s1#) for our living room and I have today noticed a dirty mark (which looks suspiciously similar to the shape of DS mouth) on them :( I have tried to use a damp cloth to clean the mark but it has now left a nasty water mark on them. Any ideas how I can get this out? I can't see any washing instructions on them or the website so no idea what to do now.

I clicked on your link and scrolled down in the info box: it states they are professional dry clean only. Might be worth taking the marked curtain in to a dry cleaners and asking their advice on removing the water mark. If you do decide to go ahead and have the curtains cleaned, do take both and have both cleaned at the same time to prevent any colour variation.

Thanks so much for that. I couldn't see anything in the info box when I looked...maybe because I was viewing on my phone I dunno. That is really good to know though...will try taking them into the dry cleaners. They have only been up in the house for two weeks or so...so totally gutted that the kids have managed to mark them already. X
