Gloves to wear when putting logs in the woodburner

The gloves I have for the above are too big and bulky. Bought another pair online which are more flexible but at a size 10 still too big for me or DH. The stove shop said the gloves are only made in size 10 as they are used as welders gloves.

Can anyone help me find smaller size please?

We got one big suede mitten with our stove: like an oven glove, and that works fine. It's not as though you need the independent use of your fingers.
