How do you remove sticker residue?

Can't get rid of that stuff that stickers leave and it's just gathering dust and muck and looks horrid. Items are plastic.

ecloth is a microfibre one - ecloth is brandname, but tescos etc all do their own version

have you tried glass cleaner? dont' use a scratchy pad, it might leave scratches

I used white spirit to get sticker marks off my new windows the other week with great success. (Thanks MN! )

Perhaps spraying Anthea's special all purpose cleaner will help? White vinegar, water & Bicarb, or perhaps just plain white vinegar will do the trick as I know it gets off labels from jam jars etc.
