Washing teddy bears-help!

Hi,
I recently bought some teddy bears from eBay and wanted to wash. I popped in washing machine, thinking it had on a really quick wash but I didn't :(
They have come out all funny and not fluffy and I'm worried I've ruined them.....anyone done the same and/or managed to save them?

how did you dry them? I always put in a pillow case in the tumble drier and they come out fluffy. Depends what they are made of though.

I haven't tumble dried them yet....is that the best way?
I've washed similar toys and they have generally been ok. Now washed in a pillow case.
Shall I try tumble drying do you think?

What sort of teddy bears is the question! If they are old or from some other countries they may be stuffed with wood in which case yes they maybe ruined.

If they are new and modern then I bung mine (DD actually) in a delicates bag and wash on a normal wash.

No they're not old so thought I'd be safe chucking in machine! :(

Try drying them on low for a little while. Fluff up the fur with your hands afterwards if you can.
