matters toppers - do they make a difference?

I find our mattress a bit too hard but it's not that old and we can't really afford a new one. Was wondering if a mattress topper would be the answer. Will it make a difference or be a waste of money?

Mattress toppers are brilliant and won´t be a waste of money as even if you get a new mattress eventually you can transfer it to that. I really cannot recommend one strongly enough!

Best thing ever. Bought new ones when we bought our new mattress. Fab.

We bought a 'firm' mattress that DH ended up hating and it started to give in places over a year. Bought a mattress topper from Asda (quite reasonable!) and it's been great.
