Small boy wee on memory foam mattress

Dc4 climbed into bed with me in the middle of the night. He then wet MY bed about 7am.

No waterproof mattress protector, only a thickish cotton one as I have chronic urticaria. The wee had soaked through to the memory foam mattress before I could strip everything.

So far I have blotted it and sprayed it with vanish upholstery stuff (pink squirts bottle). The bedroom window is open to get a good airing.

Anything more I could or should do please?

Vinegar destroys urine.
Decant into spray bottle & saturate the area.
As vinegar smell dries, takes urine with it.
Miraculous.
Use the clear type to prevent staining from vinegar.
