I live on the 10th floor, and we don't have a window cleaner, the windows are in a right state. Is there anyway I can clean the outside of the windows without absailing?

In my old 1st floor flat i just leant out a bit and stretched my arm round the window!(window only opened so far anyway)
Don't think i'd fancy that at 10th floor!!

tortoise - if I lean out I have visions of falling, I really have a fear of heights. I did have a magnetic thingio once that you stuck to the other side of the window and moved around on the inside window - does that make sense??? good....!!!! anyway it was on string and kept falling off and nearly smashed the windows of the flat downstairs. Never again, its been 3 years since they were last cleaned, and I am ashamed.

antheasmuse · 17/09/2006 12:57

no, no window cleaner whatsoever.

A sponge on a stick? Like a back scrubber that you can hold out the window and wipe the windows with.

Not a bad idea!! I will hunt out a sponge on stick kind of thing, and report back with the results!! Thanks : )
