Nespresso coffee machine & travel mug

I have just purchased a nespresso CitiZ coffee machine. I love it. I have a travel mug that I've been using to take coffee into work with, it's one of those large ones so doesn't fit under the machine properly (not a major deal).
My problem is it doesn't keep my coffee hot? I make it at 7am ready to drink at my desk for 9am (after school/nursery run & commute) and it's always just warm. I heat the cup up first too so can anyone recommend a good travel mug that will keep my drink HOT please?! Is the CitiZ travel mug any good?

Also, how many pods should I be using when using a large travel mug?
Obs been using just one and noticed by the end of pouring it looks like it's practically just dark water coming out?
Should I be using 2 pods?

We have the same machine and DH makes coffee for work. He has a contigo travel mug - if you tilt it you can make coffee straight into and IT stays hot for ages.

If you run the machine once without a pod it apparently gets hotter.

I don't think those coffee cups are designed to keep it hot for that long though. I use a teeny tiny flask and that keeps it hot for ages. I think I got it to keep my baby milk cold for my pfb.
