dog poop stain on cream carpet....help

our dog has been staying with my SIL & had an upset tummy.

how do i remove a dog poop stain from a cream carpet?

Get a professional carpet cleaner out to it. We had the same thing happen - older dog with upset tummy and I did get it out myself, but I had to hire a karcher carpet cleaner, etc and it took several goes. I've flattened the pile in the area too. Carpet cleaners' equipment is so much more powerful and they'll know exactly what to do. Shouldn't be an expensive job, but worth every penny. They can probably give you some do's and don'ts over the phone too.

There's a spray you can get in Pets at Home that's worth a try, Simple Solution Stain and Odour Solution. I had an elderly cat and my carpet wasn't cream but it's probably worth a try.

From bitter experience I wouldn't recommend tackling this yourself on a cream carpet. I know there are all sorts of products out there, but unless it's somewhere not very noticeable then please do yourself a favour and get a professional carpet cleaning firm in.
