Cereal storage

I have to keep our boxes of cereal out as no cupboard room. Would like a good storage container but the ones I have seen don't store the large packets of cereal. Anyone seen any large ones?

Thanks.

Try Ikea?

We've got five of these.

Quite expensive but I love them. Can fit most boxes of cereal in them and you can see when you are due to run out.

I use these. Not sure if they are large enough for what you need though.

Thanks all.

How much do the lock ones hold? Just a small box of cornflakes or more?

Would some clips to seal the inner bags and keep the cereals fresh that way do instead? Just a thought. I've found the Lakeland ones, sold in a pack of around 30 to be great for this kind of thing and in the freezer, etc.

Thanks for the idea. I need to store the boxes on top of the fridge though.

Sorry I haven't replied til now Lagoonablue.

Here are the dimensions of the ones I use
23 x 9 x 25cm H. (9" x 3½" x 10"). 3.9 litre

The Lakeland website says
"To give you an idea of capacity, it will hold a 375g box of cornflakes."

I tend to either empty the whole packet of cereal into the plastic container, or just drop the inner bag inside. I usually only keep the part of the cardboard box with the cooking instructions on (porridge) or the use by date.

I use the sistema things too. You can quite often pick them or other similar types in TK Maxx for a bit cheaper, eg £6.50 instead of £10. I keep Weetabix in a large plastic sistema box as it is possibly the most irritatingly messy cereal in the world to get out the packet.
